We are searching for a Business Segment Financial Controller who will drive the financial results as an analytical business partner and will lead a small team of finance professionals, managing the ongoing financial accounting, planning, forecasting, and analysis to include sales, target revenue, inventory, working capital and profit margin. This position will report directly to the DVP, Business Unit Controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business leader to drive year‑over‑year growth and profitability, driving regional priorities, operational effectiveness, KPI’s and initiatives ensuring a positive financial output.
  • Develop business relationships with functional leadership team.
  • Provide evidence‑backed data and strategic recommendations to present credibly to leadership.
  • Prepare monthly business segment малы results and forecast.
  • Assembleia monthly financial close process ensuring accurate financial results and requirements are complete within corporate timelines.
  • Maintain the closing of financial systems.
  • Evaluate accounting policies and procedural control systems and work to improve effectiveness, efficiency and compliance. This includes monthly SOX testing and upkeep of required documentation in the Corporate SOX database.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
  • 5 plus years leading a finance team and/or in a finance business partnership role, preferably in manufacturing, strong operations accounting, budget and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to challenge up and proactively communicate with credibility.
  • Driven to achieve with a sense of urgency to deliver results.
  • Uses both influence and adaptability to build relationships and collaborate.
  • Embraces coaching/developing others.
  • Holds self‑and others accountable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision ERP software and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred.
  • Travel up to 25 %.

Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: $180,000

Salary Maximum: $200,000 +

Incentive: Yes
