Position: VP - Investment Banking (CRE, M&A, Advisory & Capital Markets)

The Center Cap Group is looking for an Investment Banking Vice President to join our boutique investment firm. Our firm provides consulting, strategic advisory, and capital-raising services to middle‑market private and public sector companies and fund managers across the real estate industry.

This role spans M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic consulting, with a focus on pipeline and relationship management, deal structuring, and financial modeling. This position is full time, in‑person in Stamford, CT or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute M&A transactions, capital raises, private placements, and consulting engagements from start to finish
  • Act as a key client contact, delivering strategic guidance and building lasting relationships
  • Lead financial modeling, valuations, marketing materials, and due diligence efforts
  • Responsible for drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects
  • Mentor and develop analysts and associates, offering valuable insight and guidance day to day
  • Manage communication across internal teams and external parties, including legal, accounting, and investor partners
  • Support origination through pitch development, market research, and relationship‑building
Qualifications:
  • FINRA Series 63 and 79 registration
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 6 years of experience in financial services, investment management, private banking, real‑estate capital raising, strategic advisory or similar fields
  • Track record of leading complex transactions, taking initiative, and managing multiple priorities
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including complex debt, valuation, and capital structure analysis in Excel, and analytical capabilities;
    Ability to produce senior‑level presentations in Power Point
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights
