Job Overview – Treasury Manager (Cash Management & Controls)
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring a Treasury Manager (Cash Management & Controls) in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting cash operations, reconciliation processes, and internal controls within a complex, multi‑entity environment. This role focuses on managing daily cash activity, overseeing multi‑system reconciliations, and strengthening SOX‑aligned controls while partnering closely with finance leadership. The position offers high visibility, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilitiesas the Treasury Manager (Cash Management & Controls)
- Cash Management: Oversee daily cash activity, monitor balances, and perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconciliation: Manage complex, multi‑system cash reconciliations across accounting systems, banking platforms, and operational data sources.
- Variance Analysis: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate timing and recording of transactions.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly cash reports and support liquidity tracking and forecasting processes.
- SOX & Controls: Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring proper documentation, audit trails, and compliance with SOX requirements.
- Audit Support: Prepare audit‑ready work papers and respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in treasury, cash operations, or accounting operations is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of reconciliations, internal controls, and multi‑entity environments is required.
- Technical
Skills:
Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite or Microsoft Dynamics preferred), advanced Excel skills, and ability to work across multiple data systems is required. - Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage high‑volume data and maintain detailed documentation are required.
