Transaction Advisory Manager - Financial Services Practice, Financial Due Diligence; FDD

• Plan and oversee the financial, accounting, and operational due diligence process, applying BDO standards to ensure efficient delivery of quality services.
• Analyze financial and operating results within the context of a proposed transaction.
• Perform industry, company, and technical accounting research to assist clients in making informed transaction decisions.
• Conduct on‑site and/or phone interviews with C‑level personnel at target companies.
• Identify and propose appropriate resolutions to critical issues related to the M&A process.
• Compose the financial due diligence report, highlighting key quality of earnings, working capital, and debt‑like issues that may impact the transaction.
• Manage relationships and information flow between BDO, clients, and target companies.
• Partner with TAS Senior Managers, Directors, and Principals to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Build new relationships and maintain existing ones with BDO professionals in other lines of business.
• Research and develop proposal documents and may participate in client presentations.

• Schedule and supervise the tasks and project assignments of TAS Associates and Senior Associates.
• Review work product prepared by Associates and provide review comments and edits.
• Develop Associates through on‑the‑job and formal training and professional development opportunities.
• Provide verbal and written performance feedback throughout the fiscal year and as part of the annual performance review.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance (required).
• Five or more years of public accounting experience (required).
• Two or more years of TAS experience (preferred).
• Experience interacting and working directly with C‑level personnel (preferred).
• CPA, CPA candidate, or CA (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint (required).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially business writing.
• Ability to adapt communication style for all management levels.
• Executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and analytical thinking.
• Capability to initiate and maintain solid relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of technical accounting areas such as US GAAP.
• Ability to travel as needed.

National Range: $100,000 – $170,000
Maryland Range: $100,000 – $170,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $130,000 – $160,000
