Role Description

The Finance Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based at our dealership location in Stamford, CT. This role is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle financing and insurance process, presenting financing options, and securing approvals from lending partners. The Finance Manager prepares and reviews all finance and lease documentation for accuracy and compliance, ensuring a transparent and efficient experience for customers.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the sales team, structuring deals to meet customer and dealership objectives, and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of lender programs, rates, and compliance requirements. The role also involves monitoring finance department performance, assisting with reporting, and contributing to process improvements that support profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in automotive finance, F&I management, or related financial services, preferably in a dealership environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze credit applications, structure deals, and interpret lender guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of finance and insurance products, lending practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements in automotive retail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and build trust.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM tools, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy in paperwork, and strong organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, management, and administrative teams to support overall dealership performance.
  • Prior experience with performance metrics, reporting, and goal tracking for finance and insurance operations is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
