Business Leadership Program Internship Overview

Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program Summer Internship is a 10‑week paid assignment in one of ten tracks. Each intern receives project work important to the business and is expected to contribute to innovation.

• Work side by side with finance professionals.
• Apply knowledge to challenging projects in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Forecasting, Treasury/Cash Management, and Commercial Finance.

• Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, organizational skills.
• Passion for excellence, high integrity, commitment to quality.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Available for 10 consecutive weeks during internship (June–August).
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and provide fingerprints.
• Must satisfy requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
• Geographic mobility; ability to relocate based on program or business direction.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
