Receptionist, Healthcare

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receptionist to support their Radiology Department. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Please note: This is an onsite role with a required schedule of Thursday 8am-8pm - Friday: 8:30am-8pm

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Manage high-volume scheduling for radiology appointments
• Handle referrals, patient registration, and insurance verification
• Collect and process co-pays accurately
• Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and related documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality

• Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting required
• Proven experience with high-volume appointment scheduling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of reliability and professionalism
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Familiarity with insurance processes and patient registration systems preferred
