The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides industry leading non-medical community based and person centered support services throughout the state of Connecticut. Founded and headquartered in Danielson in 2006, with additional program locations established in Avon and Bethany Connecticut.

Join our team as a Full Time or Part Time Direct Support Professional. In this role, you will assist with household chores and tasks, drive to appointments, provide assistance with personal hygiene, and help develop routines that promote independence and self-sufficiency. You will also teach essential life skills, such as grocery shopping and budgeting, empowering individuals to navigate everyday life.

To thrive in this role, a desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities is essential. Knowledge and skills required for the position include:

• Excellent Communication
• Problem-Solving and flexibility
• A commitment to the health and wellbeing of others
• A high school education (or GED)
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver  license, insurance and registration
• Must be at least 18 years or older with a personal cell phone
• We value passion and a willingness to learn

Your schedule:
Mondays and Tuesdays 8am-8pm.
