Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Director or designee, the non-credit lecturer is accountable for the effective performance in these essential duties:
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
- Evaluating and assessing student learning outcomes
- Providing student support, mentoring, and academic advising
- Developing curriculum and periodically reviewing and updating instructional materials
- Current Industry Certification in the field you are applying to
- Related work experience in the field you are applying to.
- Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment.
- For Pharmacy Technician:Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department.
For CNA applicants: RN/LPN degree required. (RN preferred)
