Assistant Manager, Beverage Operations (Seasonal | April – September)

Lead the beverage experience at one of Connecticut’s most beloved waterfront private clubs.

For more than 75 years, Madison Beach Club has been a vibrant, member-owned coastal retreat set along 4,300 feet of private Long Island Sound shoreline. The Club features an 11,400 sq. ft. clubhouse with sweeping water views, an active sailing and regatta culture, 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, and a lively dining and events program that includes wine tastings, weddings, and summer celebrations.

Food and beverage are central to the member experience. This role sits at the heart of the Club’s peak summer operations.

• Lead daily bar and beverage operations across dining venues and events
• Hire, train, and schedule a high‑performing seasonal team
• Manage beverage purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
• Elevate the wine and beverage program, service standards, and presentation
• Support weddings, regattas, and seasonal member events
• Partner with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and leadership team to deliver an exceptional member experience

• 5+ years of food and beverage leadership in a private club, resort, or hospitality setting
• Strong beverage knowledge and inventory management experience
• Ability to lead seasonal teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent service instincts, organization, and communication skills
