Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. Candidates should be aware that this role will not remain within CVS Health following the transaction and be supporting approximately 6,000 colleagues.

The individual hired into this role will be employed by Omnicare and will contribute to shaping the future of our organization during this exciting period of growth and transformation.

Coordinates employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices. Develops and implements policies and procedures, including grievance procedures and exit interviews. Researches and responds to employee questions, concerns and grievances. Maintains employee relations records.

Develops complex policies and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Under minimal supervision, serves as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, conflicts, and concerns. Conducts investigations, gathers relevant information, and recommends appropriate actions to address conflicts. Supports managers in effectively managing employee performance, including providing guidance on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and termination processes.

Develops and implements employee communication strategies to foster open and transparent communication. Implements initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction by collaborating with HR and management to develop and execute employee recognition programs, employee surveys, and other engagement initiatives. Delivers guidance and support to employees facing personal or professional challenges by connecting employees with appropriate resources, such as Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), counseling services, or wellness programs.

Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. Oversees ongoing training to ensure all team members are fully versed and compliant within their respective roles.

5+ years in Colleague/Employee Relations, Investigations, Human Resources, or a combination of relevant experience.

Adept at problem solving and decision making skills Adept at collaboration and teamwork Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional preferred.

Bachelor's degree preferred, specialized training/relevant professional qualification or equal years of working experience may be considered.

The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.00 - $ This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
