Overview
Akkodis is seeking an Azure Terraform Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT
. Candidate must have strong capability in building Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles as a core qualification for this role.
Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable Terraform modules to provision Azure resources such as VMs, VNets, AKS, databases, and storage.
- Develop and manage CI/CD automation pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions for seamless infrastructure deployment.
- Administer core Azure services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability across cloud environments.
- Implement governance controls including Azure Policy, RBAC, NSGs, and firewall configurations to maintain security compliance.
- Monitor performance, costs, and reliability of Azure workloads and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud engineering and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying Azure infrastructure using Terraform modules, along with strong skills in scripting (Power Shell/Python) and Git-based workflows.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops/Jenkins) and the ability to implement security governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and network security controls.
