The Role:

Level 2 Network Engineer

This is a hybrid L2 role for someone who’s:

• Technically sharp
• Hungry to grow
• Passionate about cybersecurity, customer service, and AI innovation

You’ll support clients in the Stamford, CT area, act as an escalation point for L1 issues, and take ownership of more complex problems across networks, systems, and software.

• Desktops & laptops
• Networking issues
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
• Active Directory
• DNS
• Group Policy
• Onsite visits for installs, troubleshooting, and project work
• Detailed documentation in ticketing & knowledge base systems
• Escalation to senior engineers when needed
• Apply cybersecurity best practices across all client environments
• Help protect clients from evolving threats
• Collaborate on AI-driven solutions
• Help automate processes, uncover insights, and improve client operations
• Stay current with new technologies
• Participate in training and certifications

🧰 What You Need (Non-Negotiable)

• 2+ years in a help desk or technical support role (MSP experience preferred)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration & support
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory and DNS
• Familiarity with:
• RMM tools
• Ticketing systems
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Located within commuting distance of Stamford, CT

🔐 Security Mindset

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
• A genuine commitment to securing client environments

🎓 Preferred (Bonus Points)

Certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• Network+
• Security+
• Microsoft 365 Certified

Experience supporting:

• Windows Servers
• Firewalls
• Backup solutions
• Experience or strong interest in AI technologies:
• Machine learning models
