Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Managed Service Provider Senior Technician located in Stamford, CT. The Senior Technician will be responsible for providing top-tier technical support, managing complex IT systems, and implementing solutions for a diverse range of clients. Daily tasks include diagnosing and fixing hardware, software, and network issues, setting up and maintaining systems, performing system upgrades, and ensuring industry-standard security practices.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide training and guidance to clients on IT best practices.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining IT systems, including servers, cloud services, and virtual environments
  • Experience with implementing system upgrades and ensuring data security protocols are met
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical guidance to clients
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Familiarity with standard tools, methodologies, and processes used in managed IT services
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
