ETL Developer III; CT

Position: ETL Developer - Teradata to Redshift Migration

Must Have Skills:

• Expertise in Teradata and Redshift data platforms, including prior migration experience from Teradata to Redshift.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Experience working with relational and multidimensional databases for efficient ETL processes.
• Experience in unit testing and writing/documenting test cases.
• Prior Telecom experience, especially with telecom data such as topology, is a plus.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, well-organized, and a team player.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema design, and data warehousing concepts.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Developing and fine-tuning IT solutions, including coding, testing, debugging, designing, or implementing new tools.
• Researching and planning solutions for existing problems.
• Building online analytical processing (OLAP) systems and working with relational and multidimensional databases.
• Managing team members within the IT department or company.
• Solve problems by mining data, creating tables, writing reports, and communicating technical findings clearly to others.
