Overview
Insight Global is looking for an IAM Operations Lead to sit remotely for a large reinsurance client. This Lead will join the IT Security team and be responsible for day-to-day IAM operations. The role will manage third-party vendors, specifically an offshore team of approximately 22–25 resources. The offshore vendor team will manage ticket execution; this role will not be heavily hands-on but will be responsible for ticket escalations and oversight.
This Lead will also be responsible for learning new technologies as they are introduced, understanding them thoroughly, and transitioning them to the broader team. The ideal candidate will have strong IAM experience, proven leadership of offshore teams, hands-on Saviynt knowledge, and strong Azure expertise. Pay is around 60/hr.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding of employees and consultants, fulfill access requests, handle audit and compliance requests, and provide excellent customer service to end users and role owners.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all IAM policies, processes, and procedures.
- Facilitate and ensure audit and compliance processes are completed, conduct training and outreach sessions with IAM team members, stakeholders, and end users, and coordinate UAT and validation activities for IAM and related deployments and changes.
- Create, update, and maintain IAM documentation, procedures, and processes.
- Manage offshore vendor relationships and oversee ticket escalations and performance.
- Learn new technologies as introduced and transition them to the broader team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM solutions align with business needs.
- 5–7+ years of experience within IT Security, with a focus on IAM.
- 2–3 years of recent leadership experience as a lead, managing vendors and offshore teams.
- Strong experience with Azure AD, Azure MFA, Azure PIM, and Service Now.
- Recent hands-on experience with Saviynt.
- Strong communication skills with experience working with senior-level leadership.
