Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project stakeholders, including business units, compliance teams, and IT, to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to fixed income products.
Lead the requirements elicitation process for regulatory projects, ensuring full understanding and compliance with relevant regulations.
Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
Support project managers in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, risks, and issues related to fixed income regulatory initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with business users and technical teams to validate requirements and solutions.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or enhanced controls within fixed income workflows.
Ensure traceability of requirements through the project lifecycle, from initiation to testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify compliance and functionality.
Stay current with evolving regulatory frameworks affecting fixed income markets and advise on potential impacts to business processes and systems.
Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within the financial services sector, specifically with fixed income products.
Hands‑on experience working on regulatory projects, demonstrating knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
Strong understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and trading lifecycle.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in requirement gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation standards.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
