Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT(Remote). Candidate must have strong expertise in application support and incident management to be considered for the position.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Handles incident and problem management by diagnosing software issues, performing RCA, and escalating complex cases when required.
- Provides first‑ and second‑level technical support to users, resolving alerts and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Oversees application maintenance by installing patches, updates, and new features while monitoring performance and system availability.
- Collaborates with development, QA, and system administration teams to address defects and improve application reliability.
- Prepares and updates documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles, and process instructions.
- Supports testing and deployment activities for new releases to ensure smooth application rollouts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering.
- 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in application support, incident management, and software maintenance.
- Candidate should have strong capability in troubleshooting, RCA, and performance optimization across enterprise applications.
- Candidate must possess familiarity with databases, monitoring tools, and basic scripting or programming to support operational improvements.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
