The Assistant Director of AI Solutions for Underwriting is crucial in scaling and operationalizing AI-driven underwriting capabilities within the company. In this role, you will focus on transforming proven AI solutions into standardized, controlled, and production-ready systems across diverse business units and global regions.

• Lead and manage the ongoing implementation of AI-enabled underwriting work streams.
• Collaborate with IT, data, and architecture teams to ensure smooth productionization of AI solutions.
• Establish and maintain repeatable frameworks for AI-driven underwriting analysis and decision support.
• Guarantee consistency, explainability, and adherence to underwriting standards and risk appetite in AI outputs.
• Implement strong governance and control mechanisms, including validation, testing, and monitoring of AI results.
• Facilitate the widespread rollout of AI capabilities across multiple lines of business and regions.
• Act as a key liaison between underwriting, data, and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

• Over 10 years of experience in insurance, analytics, or technology.
• Strong grasp of underwriting workflows, decision-making processes, and risk management.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics, or AI/ML implementations.
• Demonstrated capability to translate business needs into scalable and production-ready solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• AI capabilities are effectively integrated into underwriting workflows and utilized consistently.
• Solutions are stable, repeatable, and operational with minimal risk.
• Clear governance and control structures for AI usage are established.
• Successful enhancement of AI capabilities across various business units without fragmentation.

This role is available in New York City, Stamford, CT, or London.
