The Global Data Delivery Manager plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that empower strategic decisions across the organization. This position is vital as we focus on data modernization and AI integration, key priorities for our business. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ETL tools like Databricks and proficiency in BI development and visualization using Power BI.

This role is based in‑office on a hybrid work schedule and will report to the Senior AI Data Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities Data Integration & Architecture
  • Design and maintain efficient data pipelines using leading ETL tools.
  • Integrate diverse data sources into a cohesive data warehouse or Lakehouse architecture in Databricks.
  • Transform raw data into conforming enterprise models and data schemas for streamlined reporting in Power BI.
  • Connect Power BI with a variety of data sources including SQL Server, SharePoint, and external APIs.
BI Development & Visualization
  • Develop and sustain data models with DAX calculations for Power BI reports.
  • Create interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
  • Optimize semantic models for self‑service analytics and paginated reporting capabilities.
Analytics & Insights
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop analytical models.
  • Partner with the Group Data Office to execute our global data delivery strategy, ensuring optimized pipelines for AI applications.
  • Utilize statistical and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare structured data to support AI‑driven initiatives and insights.
Governance & Quality
  • Implement data quality measures and validation procedures for reliable reporting.
  • Participate in governance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration
  • Work with cross‑functional teams including data stewards, architects, business analysts, and data scientists.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior and offshore resources.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and prioritize data requests efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data delivery and Power BI development.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and integration techniques, particularly with Databricks.
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI technologies, capable of troubleshooting data and reporting issues.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of Power BI best practices for data modeling and reporting.
  • Familiarity with insurance business processes and terminologies such as underwriting, claims, and operations is preferred.

Compensation

The base pay may vary based on experience, subject matter expertise, and skills, with the salary range for this position being $155,000-$165,000.
