Title: Sr. Director, Digital Transformation

Location: Remote – Stamford, CT (reports to Lovesac Corporate HUB)

Overview

As our Sr. Director, Digital Transformation, you will lead digital transformation for our Web and eCommerce teams by owning the technical roadmap, ensuring architectural alignment, and overseeing the delivery of customer‑facing platforms and experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Lovesac’s eCommerce roadmap, integrating new customer‑facing platforms and experiences (web, mobile, app, portals).
  • Translate business and brand priorities into detailed technical requirements and user stories to improve eCommerce metrics such as awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Provide strategic, scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions for digital initiatives.
  • Oversee platform integrations across CRM, new product launches, marketplaces, data platforms, and other systems.
  • Drive business strategy by delivering a connected, end‑to‑end omni‑channel experience.
  • Champion AI and automation to scale insights, reduce manual effort, and accelerate decision‑making.
  • Partner to continuously improve platform performance, uptime, page speed, and stability.
  • Manage and elevate feature development and modernization of platforms and applications.
  • Analyze eCommerce reporting metrics and identify levers to drive revenue, engagement, and conversion.
  • Maintain compliance and collaboration among eCommerce, Brand, Creative, and Tech teams.
  • Ensure platform release planning, user testing, and production deployment readiness.
  • Evaluate and manage third‑party vendors, agencies, and technology partners as needed.
  • Guide platform optimization and investment decisions using data and analytics.
  • Implement proper tagging, tracking, and analytics across all web experiences and channels.
  • Negotiate and manage P&L and vendor group relationships.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
  • Primary KPIs:
    Revenue, Engagement, Conversion, Seamless integration, and experience across all customer‑facing channels.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing and leading eCommerce platforms within large retail organizations.
  • 5+ years owning strategy and execution in a digital environment for an enterprise organization.
  • Strong experience working closely with commercial, marketing, and tech teams.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, Order Management Systems, PIM, payment gateways, ERP integration, supply chain systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with cloud‑native architecture, microservices, API‑driven systems, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, headless commerce, AWS, and related technologies.
  • Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints within marketing guardrails.
  • Proactive leader passionate about emerging digital technologies such as AI and LLMs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver high‑impact work with constrained resources.
  • Collaborative leadership style, strategic while remaining execution‑focused.
  • Commitment to Lovesac values and ability to exceed key performance indicators.
  • Travel requirement:
    Must be able to travel as needed, including quarterly team connection weeks and Manager Fest.
