Role Name - Tableau Administrator

- Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server.
" Perform server maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and updates.
" Monitor server performance and usage.
" Manage server topology and settings.
" Create and manage Tableau users and groups.
" Assign permissions and roles.
" Manage and organize site content through projects.
" Manage and maintain data sources connected to Tableau Server.
" Ensure data integrity and security.
" Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, dashboards, and reports.
" Provide technical support to Tableau users.
" Publish, organize, and manage Tableau content on the server.
" Ensure content is accessible and secure.
" Create technical designs, test cases, and user guides.
" Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and reports.
" On Tableau Desktop, create workbooks and hyper extracts.
" Responsible for the operation of the server application.
" Responsible for site(s), permissions, content, and users, when sites are used.
" Monitors overall server health including server usage patterns, process status (up/down/failover), job status (success/failure), disk drive space and stale content.
" Monitor license provisioning, usage patterns, Tableau Bridge activity, job status (success/failure), space usage and stale content.
" Familiar with Tableau Cloud.
