Data Analytics Lead, Gartner, Inc., Stamford, CT. Serve as a liaison between data engineers, data stewards, product owners, and other IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and effective data product implementation across the business. Identify and resolve data gaps that impact the delivery of data products. Gain domain knowledge in relevant business areas, data acquisition principles/sources, technical options/limitations, and communicate risks supporting data product delivery.

Ensure quality through adherence to and supporting processes and procedures, including the maintenance of documentation on shared file systems. Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and functional requirements. Assist test plan creation (Functional testing) and user acceptance testing to validate delivered solution meets business expectations. Provide support to business/data analysts, business process owners and project managers to help drive business initiatives.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Innovation, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

  • Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodology;
  • Creating business deliverables such as data flow diagrams, process maps business requirements, technical requirements, functional requirements, user stories and user acceptance tests;
  • Interpreting results using techniques such as data aggregation, statistical analysis, and create accurate and timely impact analysis;
  • SQL and understanding of data analysis tools and techniques;
  • Breaking down complex business problems and workflows into meaningful components; and
  • Utilizing tools such as Sharepoint, Smart Draw, JIRA, and Confluence.

Telecommuting permitted.
