Executive Conference Room Support Engineer
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add an Executive Conference Room Support Engineer in Stamford, CT.
Position Overview:
The Senior Customer Engineer role is responsible for first level troubleshooting and support of our clients who utilize laptops, MACs, and chrome books. The successful candidate will support technology and initiatives that serve the overall conference and computing environment, with a focus on Executive Team and their experience with conference room technology. Understanding of conference room and telepresence technologies as well as the equipment in these rooms are an important part of this Sr.
Customer Engineer role.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support CxO and their direct staff for their personal technology needs.
- Coordinate technology issue resolution across partner's platforms.
- Provide Audio/Video support including audio, video and web conferencing, webcast, for the campus, with a focus on Executive support.
- Provide training on new or established technologies to Executives and their Assistants.
- Provide QA for new technology implementation including hardware, mobility, and application, while working with vendor partners to integrate solutions.
- Available for after-hours Executive support.
- Provide escalation support for L2 technicians.
- Provide continuous improvement feedback to technology product owners.
Understanding of proper use and troubleshooting of all collaboration tools including:
- Teams meeting
- Web Ex meeting
- Zoom
- Video conference/Telepresence – scheduling and operation
- Audio conference services
- Webcast / Video on Demand origination and viewing.
- Other virtual conference technologies

- PC Hardware – Advanced
- Apple MAC – Intermediate
- Mobile Device Management – Intermediate
- A/V Equipment & Related Technologies – Intermediate
Education & Experience
Required:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum 2 years of IT experience OR in lieu of degree, a High School Diploma/GED and minimum 4 years of IT experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with client technology functions including computing asset lifecycle management, A/V equipment configuration, and technical troubleshooting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with IT Configuration Management solutions such as Active Directory, GPO, MSFT SCCM, and Casper JAMF.
- Must be willing to work in our Stamford location full time.
