The Business Systems Analyst for Sports IT partners with stakeholders across WWE, UFC, and P  to understand business operations and translate operational needs into well‑defined technology solutions. • User Acceptance Testing lead: ensure proper testing of all application bug fixes or enhancements and secure final business approval for implementation.
  • Application administrator: perform or partner with the IT Helpdesk on access provisioning, validate appropriate user access roles, and track required access requests end‑to‑end.
  • Day‑to‑day operational owner and support process lead: act as level‑2 support for all applications managed within the portfolio, triage help‑desk tickets, serve as escalation point for system failures or outages, and point of contact for the development team.
  • Compliance activities owner: work with Cyber Security on risk remediation and with IT Audit on tracking materials and evidence for SOX‑compliant applications.
  • Training lead and facilitator: create and maintain user guides, run training workshops, and cross‑train the help desk and related support colleagues.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Application Analyst, or comparable role owning enterprise business systems end‑to‑end (requirements gathering, application maintenance and configuration, application support, vendor partnership).
  • Hands‑on experience as a project lead or scrum master delivering small projects or business enhancements using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies (requirements and user story creation, backlog refinement, statement of work definitions for vendor‑delivered implementations).
  • Solid understanding of standard SDLC, quality assurance, and system integration best practices.
  • Experience partnering with IT Helpdesk, Cyber Security, and IT Audit on access management, remediation, and SOX evidence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the media, sports, entertainment, or live events industry is strongly preferred.
