Role: Informatica IDMC Administrator

Location: Stamford, CT – onsite

Duration: 6 Months

• Administer and maintain Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) including Secure Agents, services, and user roles.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and scalability.
• Manage connectivity with on-prem and cloud data sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS S3).

• Implement and manage Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and Axon Data Governance tools.
• Automate metadata ingestion from core banking systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage to support regulatory reporting (e.g., BCBS 239, CCAR, AML).
• Collaborate with data stewards to enrich metadata with business context and glossary terms.

• Support data governance initiatives by integrating catalog and lineage with business glossaries and data quality rules.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX) through lineage tracking and metadata tagging.
• Assist in audit and risk assessments by providing traceable data flows and impact analysis.

• Partner with data engineers, architects, and compliance teams to align metadata strategy with business goals.
• Provide training and onboarding for business users and analysts on catalog and lineage tools.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices for metadata and platform management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Informatica administration, with at least 2 years on IDMC.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica EDC, Axon, and Data Lineage tools.
• Familiarity with banking data domains such as loans, deposits, credit risk, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid data environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Informatica certifications (IDMC, EDC, Axon).
• Experience with REST APIs, scripting (Python, Shell), and automation.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, DFAST, GDPR).
