Role: Informatica IDMC Administrator
Location: Stamford, CT – onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description- Administer and maintain Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) including Secure Agents, services, and user roles.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and scalability.
- Manage connectivity with on-prem and cloud data sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS S3).
- Implement and manage Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and Axon Data Governance tools.
- Automate metadata ingestion from core banking systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
- Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage to support regulatory reporting (e.g., BCBS 239, CCAR, AML).
- Collaborate with data stewards to enrich metadata with business context and glossary terms.
- Support data governance initiatives by integrating catalog and lineage with business glossaries and data quality rules.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX) through lineage tracking and metadata tagging.
- Assist in audit and risk assessments by providing traceable data flows and impact analysis.
- Partner with data engineers, architects, and compliance teams to align metadata strategy with business goals.
- Provide training and onboarding for business users and analysts on catalog and lineage tools.
- Document processes, standards, and best practices for metadata and platform management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Informatica administration, with at least 2 years on IDMC.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica EDC, Axon, and Data Lineage tools.
- Familiarity with banking data domains such as loans, deposits, credit risk, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid data environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Informatica certifications (IDMC, EDC, Axon).
- Experience with REST APIs, scripting (Python, Shell), and automation.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, DFAST, GDPR).
