Overview
Analyze structured and unstructured quantitative data to derive actionable insights that improve the ROI of digital marketing programs. Deliver comprehensive analytics—including reports, dashboards, and presentations—to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations that inform and shape decision‑making. Partner with Gartner business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders across many GSSO functions. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data validation, documentation, and governance.
Identify opportunities for process, data, and reporting improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Problem‑solve with structured and unstructured quantitative data and derive actionable insights to improve digital marketing ROI.
- Deliver comprehensive analytics (reports, dashboards, and presentations) to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations that inform and shape decision‑making.
- Partner with Gartner business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders across many GSSO functions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data validation, documentation, and governance.
- Identify opportunities for process, data, and reporting improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- 2‑4+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, preferably in business and/or digital marketing analytics.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and analytics databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different personalities across the organization.
- Strong understanding of dashboarding tools like Looker Studio and/or PowerBI and their capabilities.
- Baseline understanding of SQL is expected to support data exploration and validation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects at once.
- Experience working with senior and executive leadership.
- A team player. You get along well with your colleagues and are always ready to help get things done.
- Passionate about learning. You thrive on complex technical challenges and are always eager to learn the latest technologies.
- Organized and detail‑oriented. You think ahead of time about how best to implement new features, and your code is clean, well‑organized and properly documented.
