Windchill Senior System Consultant

Location:

Hybrid, Stamford, Connecticut

JD:

Solution Design:
" Define high-level and detailed architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
" Align Windchill solutions with business goals and industry best practices.
" Experience in CAD worker setup for Windchill environments, including Creo, Office Worker, etc.
" Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
" Configuration of SSO and SSL configuration.
" Upgrade planning and execution, including rehearsals on lower environments.
" Documenting all steps and preparing a detailed runbook for the production upgrade.
" Final execution of the upgrade on the production environment.
" Running WinDU, analyzing results, and resolving issues reported during upgrade rehearsals.

Customization & Integration:
" Lead development of workflows, object models, and system configurations.
" Integrate Windchill with ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms.

Project Execution:
" Oversee end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization.
" Manage risk, stakeholder communication, and project governance.

Mentorship & Documentation:
" Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and testing standards.
" Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and customizations.

Technical Stack:
" Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Windchill modules (PDMLink, Project Link, Parts Link).
