We're looking for a SQL Server Database Architect to design, evaluate, and optimize enterprise-scale database solutions that power critical business initiatives. This role calls for deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, and overall database architecture. You'll lead database design efforts, set architectural standards, and ensure our data environments are scalable, secure, high-performing, and easy to maintain, while directly supporting data-driven decision-making and long-term platform growth.

- Architect enterprise-grade SQL Server database solutions from the ground up.
- Evaluate and optimize existing database structures, schemas, and relationships.
- Build logical and physical data models that align with business needs.
- Design efficient tables, indexes, constraints, and other database objects.
- Establish and document database architecture standards and best practices.
- Partner closely with application architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure databases remain scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable.
- Support data integration, reporting, and analytics efforts across the organization.
- Assess and modernize legacy database environments to boost performance and maintainability.
- Create clear technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design standards.
- 10+ years of experience in database architecture and design.
- Expert relational database design and data modelling ability.
- Strong background in database architecture and performance tuning/optimization.
- Track record of designing complex database schemas and table structures.
- Solid grasp of normalization, indexing strategies, and data integrity principles.
- Experience assessing and modernizing legacy database environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL technologies.
