ThePosition
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our rapidly growing Foreclosure team. We’re looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in litigation; we are open to most practice areas, with preference for candidates with bankruptcy, foreclosure, or real estate litigation experience. The candidate must meet time-sensitive deadlines, be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and provide outstanding customer service to clients.
Responsibilities- Provide service updates and client status updates; follow up on outstanding documents and services; coordinate with title contacts to complete outstanding tasks such as recordings and missing documents.
- Draft and generate pleadings such as complaints, motions, notices of hearings, affidavits, defaults, notices of actions, and notices of publication.
- Manage all administrative tasks of legal cases.
- Tasks generally include editing and preparing correspondence and legal documents, maintaining electronic files, arranging depositions and correspondence, and heavy calendaring.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal. Experience with default services in real estate, litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy proceedings is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
