THE ROLE:

The Jr. Buyer is responsible for supporting Harvest Hill’s procurement function across direct materials, including chemicals and raw materials, as well as packaging categories in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods environment. This role is part of the Procurement team partnering closely with Operations Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and suppliers to help ensure continuity of supply, competitive total cost, and strong service performance across the network.

Key responsibilities include purchasing responsibilities, purchase order execution, supplier coordination, material forecasting, spend and pricing analysis, inventory and material visibility, reporting, and support for sourcing initiatives, innovation projects, and ongoing business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance day-to-day purchasing execution with continuous improvement in support of procurement and supply chain objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management:

• Manage purchasing minor ingredients and/or packaging in support of purchasing strategy
• Develop and maintain packaging, chemical, and raw material forecasts for key suppliers and production locations.
• Create and manage purchase orders in AX for packaging, chemicals, and raw materials to support production requirements across Harvest Hill locations.
• Coordinate material setup requests and item master changes with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
