.

- Contract role

Duration: 3+ Months (Possibly C2H)

Location: Stamford, CT

As a Field Dispatch Technician
, you will:

• Install, configure, and maintain low-voltage cabling systems (Cat 3, Cat 5/5e, Cat 6, Fiber Optic).
• Perform network equipment installation and testing (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Execute Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and repair cabling infrastructure and network performance issues.
• Install and maintain Wi-Fi systems and related hardware.
• Complete documentation for work orders, time reporting, and inventory.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotation.

This is a Fulltime
- Contract role

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (able to carry a 6-ft ladder).
• Minimum 5 years in data communications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic cabling and technician tools.
• Working smartphone and laptop; knowledge of Office 365.
• Proficiency with cable/fiber testers and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in communications closets and patching processes.
• Familiarity with 66 Block and 110 Block cross-connect procedures.
• Basic knowledge of networking, IP phones, Cisco switches/routers.
