SHIFT:
Full-time | 2nd Shift | 37.5 Hours per week

SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday | 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

NOTE:

While CTECS follows a ten-month academic calendar, this position is year-round!

YOUR ROLE

As a Custodian, you will play an essential role in supporting students, staff, and visitors by ensuring that classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and ready for daily activities. From performing routine cleaning and floor care to reporting repair needs and completing minor maintenance tasks, your work will contribute directly to a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who values teamwork, takes initiative, and is committed to providing exceptional service while helping maintain a safe and attractive school campus.

In your role as a Custodian, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices, auditoriums, wards, kitchens, dining rooms and lavatories including outdoor areas (i.e. trash around buildings);
• Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax and polish floors, shampoo carpets using appropriate equipment such as floor polishers and buffers;
• Wash, dust and polish glass including windows, woodwork, walls, furniture and metal equipment;
• Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling in the appropriate containers;
• Report needs for repairs;
• Perform minor maintenance;
• Inspect building for damage and report conditions to supervisor;
• Perform related duties as required.
