A growing investment management firm in Stamford, CT is seeking a proactive and experienced Director of Operations to oversee daily business functions and support the leadership team. This is a direct-hire, on-site opportunity offering long-term growth and the chance to make a tangible impact on a close-knit, collaborative team.

Hours: 7:45am–6:00pm (depending on business needs)

Base salary: $120-$150K (commensurate with experience) + bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily firm operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and deadlines are met
  • Partner with senior leadership to design, implement, and refine internal workflows and best practices
  • Manage complex scheduling, coordinate meetings, and handle cross-department communication
  • Supervise office administration, vendor management, and facilities oversight
  • Assist with financial and operational reporting, expense tracking, and internal documentation
  • Support special projects and assist with onboarding, training, and employee coordination
  • Anticipate needs and proactively move initiatives forward in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications:
  • 5–10 years of operations or office management experience, ideally in financial services or professional services
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities
  • Proven track record of improving processes and implementing new systems
  • Tech savvy; proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands‑on team where flexibility and initiative are essential
