The LYNC Program Director is responsible for the oversight of all day-to-day administration functions of the program. The director is also responsible for establishing a safe and welcoming environment and a risk reduction culture that promotes behavioral change; maintaining and modeling a cultural, gender and trauma responsive approach for all team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Actively manages the day-to-day operations of the LYNC Program, including staffing supervision, communications and coordination with funding and referral sources.
  • Coordinate and supervise program operations to ensure it is operated in accordance with agency Policies & Procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversees staff training and development, performance management, annual reviews and progressive discipline; provide and document face-to-face clinical supervision and staff development in individual and group formats according to agency and program requirements.
  • Responsible for timeliness of program interventions, services, record keeping, reporting and communication, including but not limited to timely acknowledgement of referrals, contact with youth and family, intake, screening assessments, Service Team Meetings, Risk Reduction and Sustainability Plans, discharge reports, weekly referral source updates and monthly reporting.
  • Monitoring of staff schedules and tracking staff training.
  • Maintains compliance in documentation with agency and program standards.
  • Ensures appropriate programming (frequency and timely services), including development of group schedules to minimize wait times.
  • Compliance with all funder quality assurance expectations.
  • Establishes and maintains a safe, culturally responsive, and welcoming environment and a risk reduction program culture that promotes behavior change.
  • Provides supervision to program staff regularly.
  • Attends key stakeholder and community meetings.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of CDCS data entry and review regularly.
  • Leads Service Team meetings; participates in all required internal and external meetings.
  • Complete all required internal and external training within the required time frames.
  • Meet and contribute to agency outcomes and performance measures.
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations, and standards of accreditation, facility licensure and funding sources.
  • May perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge Of:
  • Administrative responsibilities for community-based programs.
  • Risk-needs-responsivity principles and risk reduction initiatives.
  • General office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability To:
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage priorities effectively to meet deadlines and demonstrate multi-tasking skills.
  • Assimilate new information and technology.
Education and Experience:

Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Human Services field with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory role working in a community-based, juvenile justice setting; OR, Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Human Services field and a minimum of two (2) years post-degree and experience in a supervisory role working in a community-based, juvenile justice setting.

Experience with risk reduction initiatives.

Other:
  • Must be dependable and reliable; detail-oriented; and able to interface easily with clients, staff, and referral sources.
  • Must be able to meet routine office physical demands including climbing stairs, carrying up to 20-pound objects and possess the dexterity and vision to operate office computers and equipment.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must successfully complete the introductory probationary employment period.
