Project Manager – Ground-Up Multifamily Construction

Location: Connecticut

Industry: Multifamily Construction | Ground-Up | General Contractor

A nationally recognized General Contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale residential developments is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects in Connecticut.

This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with field leadership, owners, architects, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and change orders
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Support field teams to ensure quality control and safety compliance
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager working for a General Contractor
  • Strong background delivering ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary $150,000 – $180,000
