Manufacturing Supervisor (Night Shift) – Stamford, CT – Lead Operations That Make an Impact

We’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee night shift cleanroom operations in Stamford, CT. In this leadership role, you’ll be at the center of driving production performance, ensuring exceptional product quality, and enabling smooth coordination across testing, integration, and customer support teams.

What You’ll Drive
  • Plan and execute production schedules that align with operational goals and resource availability
  • Maximize output by proactively resolving issues, reducing downtime, and controlling costs
  • Deliver consistent, on‑time production results against defined targets
  • Partner closely with engineering to enhance equipment performance and process reliability
  • Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to support production ramp‑up and meet customer demand
  • Uphold the highest quality standards through strong processes, training, and accountability
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–15 employees, fostering a culture of ownership and performance
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and employee growth initiatives
  • Establish clear priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Promote a safe and compliant workplace, adhering to quality and ISO standards
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to drive efficiency and eliminate waste
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen overall operations
What You Bring
  • Proven leadership in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong experience in process improvement, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing teams
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and production reporting
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing or production setting
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role with direct people management
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • Business or Engineering background is a plus
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Cleanroom manufacturing environment in Stamford, CT
  • Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Rotating schedule including weekdays and alternating Saturdays
  • Fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment focused on Lean and continuous improvement

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Stamford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $/yr.

This is an excellent opportunity to break into the rapidly growing semiconductor industry. This is a full‑time position offering a comprehensive compensation package, including medical benefits, vacation time, and paid holidays, along with a 15% night shift premium and up to a 12.5% annual bonus.
