Location: Easton on the Hill, Stamford

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

Avtron is a global leader in the design and manufacture of Load Banks and Dynamo meters, supplying customers across the power generation, utilities, defence and industrial sectors. We are committed to engineering excellence, innovation and delivering quality products right first time.

We are looking for a Production Team Leader to lead and develop our Production team, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations while delivering production targets and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Production team to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
  • Plan and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are achieved while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and company procedures.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and training, and support employee development and engagement.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
Job Requirements
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong organisational, planning and people management skills.
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
