About The Role
Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager, Sponsorship Marketing to support integrated sponsorship solutions across their golf media platforms and properties. This role sits at the intersection of Sponsorship Sales, Marketing, Production, and Content
, serving as a strategic connector from concept development through execution and fulfillment. The ideal candidate brings sports ad sales marketing experience from a legacy media environment
, is highly organized, and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Pre-Sale Marketing & Client Solutions
- Partner with Sponsorship Sales to participate in meetings with advertisers, agencies, and internal Client stakeholders to identify business objectives
- Lead internal briefings with cross-functional teams (sales, production, marketing, digital, social)
- Develop strategic, on-brand proposal concepts aligned to advertiser KPIs and Golf brand priorities
- Present and pitch ideas clearly and confidently to internal and external partners
Marketing Strategy & Insight Development
- Translate advertiser goals, sales strategy, and audience insights into compelling marketing platforms
- Ensure ideas are purposeful, strategic, and scalable across platforms
Cross-Platform Storytelling
- Develop integrated sponsorship concepts across linear, streaming, digital, social, and experiential channels
- Build clear, persuasive narratives using PowerPoint and Word
Post-Sale Activation & Fulfillment
- Own activation and sponsorship fulfillment planning for assigned accounts
- Ensure delivery against client KPIs and contractual obligations
- Create recap and renewal materials to support long-term partnerships
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as a central point of communication across Sales, Production, Content, Marketing, Digital, and Social teams
- Manage approvals, timelines, and asset coordination to keep projects on track
Day-to-Day
- Communicating with stakeholders via Teams and email
- Gaining approvals and aligning cross-functional partners (approximately 50% of the role)
- Organizing strategic thinking and preparing concepts for market
- Gathering assets and building cohesive storytelling decks
Team Structure
- Join a highly collaborative, close-knit team of six across Connecticut and Florida
- Work closely with Production and Content teams
- Embedded within a larger Sponsorship Sales organization
- No direct reports
- 5+ years of experience in Ad Sales Marketing or Sponsorship Marketing
- Experience with in a sports network or legacy media company (e.g., ESPN, Golf Channel, major broadcast networks)
- Proven ability to develop sponsorship solutions for sports properties
- Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with consulting agencies or cross-functional creative teams is a plus
