Sales Revenue Growth Manager
Lead the analytics that identify opportunities for pricing, product architecture and promotional improvement. Establish product and segment recommendations by retailer, channel and region based on identified opportunities and insights. Align with key internal stakeholders (brand, finance, sales). Steer the promotional evaluation process through pre and post evaluation and leverage knowledge to drive improvements with the finance and sales team. Lead the creation and implementation of promotional guidelines by price promotional group, category and retailer based on post evaluation of previous activities, a clear understanding of market or competitive movement and price elasticities.
Monitor/report on adherence; identify outlier activity and work with sales/senior leadership to correct. Consolidate, analyze and track key pricing and promotional intensity KPIs for own and competitor brands. Provide insights behind the numbers and recommend/steer corrective action. Provide customer and category promotional insights and performance metrics into the S&OP process. Own key reporting for assigned brand/categories; ensure timely delivery of these reports (with relevant insights).
Ensure internal stakeholders are trained report deliverables/metrics and are able to utilize these in their business steering. Consistently evaluate "what" we do and "how" we do it. Seek new solutions to simplify key department processes and ways of working.
BA/BS in relevant field, Marketing/Business Administration preferred;
Statistics or Mathematics major also considered. 5+ years prior experience developing strategic, omni-channel customer and promotional strategies for CPG (client of agency side, health and beauty experience preferred). Ability to think strategically and to translate internal brand strategy into retailer strategy. Strong oral and written communication skills to influence and secure cross-functional support. Must have excellent analytical skills and business acumen to build strong business cases for change.
Must be technology savvy and have strong office productivity software skills (especially with PowerPoint and Excel). Strong interpersonal skills, innovative attitude, flexible, proactive, service-minded and a strong team player. Self-motivated, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Ability to think strategically and increase effectiveness at achieving overall strategies in a highly collaborative environment.
