Infection Control/Wound Care Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Infection Control Nurse/Wound Care Nurse to join our dedicated team at Civita Care Center at Long Ridge, the area's leading provider of sub-acute rehabilitation. As an Infection Preventionist/Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing, controlling and preventing infections; promote healing, and improve patient outcomes through expert clinical care and education. Our physician-driven programs are designed to address the individual needs of each resident, ensuring maximum recovery potential.

• Monitor and support infection prevention practices
• Assess, treat, and document wound care plans
• Educate staff, patients, and families on infection control protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

• Active nursing license with the ability to practice in Connecticut
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Infection Control and/or Wound care experience preferred is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on patient safety and quality care
