Job Details
  • Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in process products, and finished goods using standard quality control procedures.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and computerized testing instruments to evaluate product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct routine calibration and verification of laboratory equipment following documented procedures.
  • Accurately record, analyze, and communicate test results while maintaining detailed laboratory documentation.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process and identify any quality concerns or nonconforming materials.
  • Report quality issues, trends, and test findings to Quality Management in a timely manner.
  • Follow ASTM testing methods, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and established quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready laboratory environment.
  • Comply with all company safety, environmental, and operating policies.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; relevant college coursework is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory, quality, or testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Chemical laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Experience performing laboratory equipment calibration is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ASTM testing standards and quality inspection methods.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and interpret test results.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed testing procedures.
