Position: Leasing Advisor – Sales & Client Experience

We are seeking a Leasing Advisor to work in our headquarters office (Stamford, CT) and join our team that oversees residential apartment leasing activity and lease administration across our portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of sales execution, operational discipline, and cross‑team coordination, ensuring leads are converted efficiently and leases are processed accurately and consistently.

This individual will own the end‑to‑end apartment leasing lifecycle. From lead intake and tour scheduling through follow‑up processes and application approval, lease execution, and coordinating move‑in readiness. You will partner closely with sales, marketing, on‑site teams, and property management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the customer experience from first inquiry through lease execution
  • Drive conversion from lead-to-lease by maintaining responsiveness, and ensuring every prospect is actively guided through the leasing process
  • Oversee daily leasing activity across assigned properties or portfolio
  • Monitor a pipeline of lead flow, response times, tour conversion, and leasing pace
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM and adherence to leasing standards and workflows
  • Support leasing teams with process clarity, prioritization, and issue resolution
  • Identify friction points in the funnel and recommend process improvements to increase conversion
Lease Administration & Compliance
  • Manage lease preparation, execution, unpaid balance follow‑up and renewals
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of new tenant verification and supporting documentation
  • Oversee application approvals, deposits, and concessions
  • Maintain consistency with Fair Housing, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as escalation point for lease-related issues and exceptions
Process, Reporting & Systems
  • Own lease administration processes from intake through move‑in
  • Ensure accurate process mapping and execution of:
    • Leads entered being responded to
    • Appointments scheduled and coordinated with on‑site teams
    • Applications received and processed
    • Leases executed
  • Communicate with on‑site teams to coordinate hand‑offs and transition from a prospect to a new resident
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual or redundant steps
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in a customer‑facing sales role. Preferably but not limited to residential leasing, property sales, or residential property management
  • Comfortable balancing sales urgency with administrative accuracy
  • Understanding of lease administration and leasing compliance
  • Experience working within a CRM or property management system (Salesforce/Yardi preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple prospects with varying priorities across properties and teams
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and process-driven
