About The Role
This is an individual sales position to maximize the new phase of growth focused on the software vertical in North America. The role will report to the Global Sales Head of DTS and drive booking and revenue growth, profitability, customer and employee satisfaction. It will include collaboration with vertical leads and the Service line team to support solution development and delivery excellence, focusing on BFSI and Fintech accounts.
WhatYou Will Do
You will be responsible for building a meaningful and quantifiable pipeline, opening high‑level conversations, qualifying opportunities, identifying decision makers, and closing deals in a timely manner. You must meet annual sales revenue targets and execute long‑term growth goals.
What You Need- 15+ years of selling IT services / product engineering services, with predominant experience selling to large enterprise clients in software and related industries.
- Good knowledge of the BFSI industry.
- Strong understanding and experience working in a global/offshore outsourcing business model, leading a regional sales team.
- Experience working with C‑level and senior executive contacts.
- Creation of large proactive deals, strategy, planning and roadmap. Proven track record in consulting, advising, and solution selling. Lead RFP/RFI initiatives.
- Excellent customer interface skills – communication and presentation, driving meetings, building long‑term valued relationships.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and work effectively under high pressure.
- In‑depth understanding of the software industry including cloud, data, AI, Dev Ops, automation, low‑code/no‑code.
- Prior relationships and experience collaborating with hyperscalers, data‑warehousing and related organizations.
- Co‑develop new solutions and go‑to‑market strategies with partners to create new opportunities.
- Engage with client senior leadership focused on account mining and relationship building.
- In‑depth experience opening new logos and new business development activities through direct sales in North America.
- Proven ability to identify and close large multi‑year opportunities.
- Strong network and contacts in the manufacturing, building automation and related industries.
- Ability to lead a disciplined prospecting strategy (cold calls, tele‑prospecting, email, social media) for hunting accounts.
- Run a disciplined sales pipeline with lead management, qualification and established sales methods.
- Develop overview materials to support initial meetings and conversations.
- Customer satisfaction management – orchestrate internal resources to give customers an enhanced experience across touch‑points.
- Build a trusted group of referenceable customers.
- Be willing to travel 50%+ domestically.
More than 10 years of relevant experience.
Compensation & BenefitsThe expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $230,000, depending on location, skills and experience. The role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical and dental coverage, disability insurance, paid and unpaid leave, and other benefits.
