In-Home Sales & Tech Support; Part Time

Local in‑home field role requiring daily travel to customers’ residences – not remote.

$24.80 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend and sales commission.

Part‑time. Five evenings per week, 4:05 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We’re looking for an In‑Home Sales & Tech Support professional to work during our busiest hours. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone starting their career who enjoys talking to people and wants hands‑on sales experience.

• Serve:
  • Meet customers in‑home or elsewhere as scheduled.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize the customer.
• Solve:
  • Diagnose and resolve customers’ tech issues, explaining solutions in an understandable way.
  • Ensure customers leave with a suitable resolution and a product that meets future tech needs.
• Sell:
  • Offer tailored solutions using Asurion’s product range.
  • Identify customer needs through active listening and position products accordingly.
  • Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to close sales.

• Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan).
• Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Travel up to 120 miles one‑way.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Personal cellphone for on‑the‑job communications.
• Comfortable working around household pets.
• Efficient, adaptable, goal‑oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
• Open‑minded and passionate about learning a wide range of skills.
• Naturally outgoing and thrives in human interaction.

• Guaranteed base hourly rate for all hours worked, paid bi‑weekly.
• Uncapped commissions paid bi‑weekly.
• Mileage reimbursement paid weekly.
• US $35 phone stipend paid monthly.
• Three weeks paid training.
