**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for the protection of patrons and employees, patrolling for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguarding the company’s assets.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* protects patrons and employees, patrols for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguards the company’s assets
* escorts money and chip credits from booths to master bank and chip fills
* performs table and bill validator drops
* investigates and records all unusual occurrences and incidents within the gaming facility
* detains persons involved in illegal activities and notifies law enforcement authorities
* responds to complaints, ejections, medical and assistance calls and accurately acquire all pertinent information needed for reporting purposes
* checks ids for underage patrons
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** performs cards and dice pick-up and distribution for the casino
* accurately stores and distributes all lost and found articles, accurately prepares necessary forms and updates the log book
* works in the lost guest booth and security dispatch, as needed
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* must be able to write detailed reports in a clear and concise manner
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* basic knowledge of word, excel and outlook
* ability to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner
** training requirements
*** cpr, first aid and blood borne pathogen certification
* smart alcohol awareness
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
* must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
* ability to respond to emergency situations in an expedited manner
* possible exposure to unknown health and safety hazards and physical altercation
