Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Corporate Observant in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
- Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
