This role will perform residential plumbing, repair, maintenance, and installation functions—including well pump systems, water treatment, gas and oil‑fired equipment, remodeling, new construction, drain cleaning, frozen pipe repair, and all other general plumbing service work.
The position handles residential service issues, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems. Candidates must be skilled at interacting with customers, explaining solutions, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities- Runs residential service calls for plumbing, repair maintenance, or new construction.
- Performs residential Well Services repair and maintenance calls.
- Monitors truck inventory and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
- Handles customer-facing communication regarding plumbing service diagnosis and repair requirements.
- Provides coverage for early starts and after‑hours emergency situations, as needed.
- Participates in training to stay current with new technology and techniques.
- Completes other duties as required to achieve the mission of the Well Services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- P‑2 or higher plumbing license required.
- Minimum 4 years of field experience in residential plumbing services.
- Solid grasp of residential Well System configuration, diagnosis, and repair.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and teamwork ability.
- Comfortable using technology such as an iPad for daily operations.
- Ability to initiate and resolve conflicts to achieve desired change.
- Ability to read and understand residential plumbing manuals and specifications.
- Capability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Valid Connecticut motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while remaining calm.
- Capacity to multi‑task when assigning, reviewing, and tracking multiple work orders and projects.
