Meter Service Mechanic Helper - Danielson, CT

We are seeking a Meter Service Mechanic – Electric to perform routine field work while developing the skills necessary to install, test, maintain, and repair electric metering systems. This position involves hands‑on electrical work, customer service interaction, and participation in storm response and emergency restoration activities as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, clean motor vehicle operator’s license
• Ability to successfully pass the CAST test
• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of and ability to apply electrical theory

• Licensed electrician or equivalent education and experience
• Prior related metering or instrumentation experience

• This position is part of a four‑year job progression:
  Starting pay at Step 1 $ 32.65 and progressing in accordance with the union contract.
