Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Type: Direct Hire

Location: Stamford, CT area

Compensation: $22-26/hour + full benefits

Details:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work closely with the Director of Maintenance to maintain a high-end residential building complex by preforming repairs and improvements as needed.

Responsibilities:

Complete work orders as requested by residents
Wood Flooring and/or wallpaper replacement
Paint/paint touch up
Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing
Conduct move-out inspections
Minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting skills

Required:

Experienced with;
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and painting skills
1-3 years’ experience in facility or apartment building maintenance or related
Experienced with hand tools, power tools, volt meters, apartment building maintenance
Experience with painting and prep work
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
Must be able to work a rotational on call schedule
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally with tenants, management and co-workers
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Strong time management skills, attention to detail and thoroughness
